Noémi Schlosser (1978) graduated under Dora van der Groen and Tony Award-winning director Ivo van Hove at the Antwerp Conservatory in Belgium. At the beginning of her career, she worked extensively as an actress and evolved towards stage directing in theatre, musical and opera.

These days Schlosser divides her professional endeavors between directing and constantly growing her extensive portfolio comprising a wide range of opera productions ready to stage including, Flavio (Haendel), Il Trovatore (Verdi), Jenůfa (Janáček), Lucia di Lammermoor (Donizetti), Mathilde di Shabran (Rossini) and is currently tackling The Magic Flute (Mozart).

In 2017 Schlosser relocated to Israel where she regularly directs for the Jerusalem Opera. She freelances at the Israeli Opera and teaches at the Buchmann Mehta School of Music at Tel Aviv University and the Jerusalem University for the Academy of Music and Dance. 

Noémi Schlosser coaches singers and actors privately to achieve their aspirations and dreams and prepares them for upcoming auditions and role debuts internationally.

UPCOMING SUMMER - FALL 2024

Noemi will join the Faculty of the Prague Summer Nights, the Young Artist Program of the Opera Studio & Opera Academy.

On October 7th, Noemi will direct KADDISH ORIYA at the Israeli Opera.

This World Premiere is a commemorative concert for the MASSACRE on October 7th, 2023.

KADDISH ORIYA is a composition for 60 people choir, soloists, and wind orchestra, by Hannie Ricardo the mother of Oriya, who was murdered at the Nova Festival.
